Mr Coeur de Lion
I had a couple of viruses/malware a few days ago that I got rid of using Microsoft Security Essentials. This was the only program I could find to get rid of them. Now, when I do a google search on anything, about 60% of the time when I click a link, the page that opens up is not the link I clicked. It's generally a shopping site or something like it.Any ideas as to the problem? I can't even think of a search term I could type into google to find an answer.I use avast and have done a boot scan and this came up with nothing.I've used adaware, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Microsoft Security Essentials on full deep scan modes and nothing more has been found. Mr Coeur de Lion
This is highly recommended, I believe.http://www.superantispyware.com/Sue
Actually downloaded that 10 mins ago and am running it now.Someone else suggested uninstalling and reinstalling my browser. I've done that and so far it seems to have done the trick.

With reference to the malware I mean.Sue
Mr Coeur de Lion
No idea, perhaps it isn't malware after all.But the fact remains it seems good now I've uninstalled and reinstalled.I ran superantispyware and it found another 3 trojans.
