wi-fi problem after uninstalling SFR neufbox

hi all

last year while staying in France a few months, I used a wireless SFR neufbox connection for my laptop, installing the required program for the wi-fi connection. After I returned back home(Asia) and deleted the neufbox program, I find out the wi-fi doesn't work due to an allegedly incomplete installation of the said program. I now have a laptop that automatically disconnects its Wireless Zero Connection every few seconds, effectively making the internet unable to use. I asked for local tech-support, but all they can come up with is formatting the windows.

Anybody has some insight/tips on this? Such help would be greatly appreciated. I use windows XP.

Your first mistake was installing anything to use the Neufbox, you should never need to install any 3rd party software to connect to a WiFi router, just the security key.
