Trying to add international illimite

Recommended Posts

to my friends orange account but there is no link to activate it.

I have gone in on my account and there is no link there either to deactivate it (I am already using it).

Have orange stopped this offer now?

It says 1 heure mobiles + international illimité

tarif :7.00 EUR / mois TTC and next to it should be a link to activate it, but there is nothing there. :(

they changed the offer in February. The 7 euros extra thing no longer exists.

And since April, there have been two offers with unlimited VOIP calls and 1 hour to french mobiles.

You can have 'Formule Plus' i.e keeping and paying for the FT line as well as the extra VOIP line - 34,90 per month

or 'Net Plus' which is the same but with no FT line - 39,90 per month

both plus 3 euros livebox rental if needed.

There are other offers but they are the relevant ones you are looking for.

Trust them to make it more complicated.

Two clicks to get that service before, now it's start a new contract and for some reason we have to have the tv as well. I click on the internet and telephone only, it takes me through to a line test which comes back ok, but then the offer changes to include tv as well.

Wonder how long it takes them to set the new contract up as well. The old way, I had the service I wanted instantly.

It was so much better than this.

Thanks D&J, that's where I started from, but as soon as the line test is done (mandatory after selecting choisir), then the offer disappears only to be replaced with tv included.

Have signed up now, and we'll just keep the tv box packed up and ignored.

I'm staying at friends now, have rented my house out and they are existing orange customers. As I said before, adding the international illimite to the account was so easy before.

they have also reduced the cost by 7 euros.... but maybe you didn't notice that.

'Net' was 49,90 including livebox rental, now 'Net Plus' is 42,90 including livebox rental.

They do want people to take the TV as well - so that they can make more money from films on demand etc - but you don't have to take it.....

.....yet

not to labour a point, you have done it now but in case anyone else is interested,

click on 'voir les autres offres' then click on 'envie d'appels illimites vers l'international & 1 h vers les mobiles' and there it is....

Choice of

'Formule Plus internet telephone'

'Net Plus internet telephone'

or the other offers with the TV

et voila

Probably best to call them to do that. Or go into a shop.

I suppose it doesn't really make any difference if you can do without the 49 euros (refundable deposit) which you will get back eventually. Its probably less hassle to just stick the decoder it in a cupboard like you say. You never know, you may want to use it at some point

As I've moved out of my house and in with friends, when my decoder goes back and I get the deposit back there, I'll just use that and pass on to my friends.

I wish I'd have clicked that offer, but as I say the fact it had the tv icon on it, led me to believe that it still included tv.
