Bob T Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 I have a neufbox from SFR which is for my internet and has my phone plugged into it.When I pick up the telephone to make a call, a voice tells me that I have a new message before it gives me a dial tone. Thing is I have no messages, the answering machine on the neufbox is switched off. If I go into the sfr page with phone messages there are none there. I have tried switching the answer machine in the neufbox on to check for messages and then switched it off again as there are none.Does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying voice? Perfidious Posted August 21, 2010 Share Posted August 21, 2010 Yes!! I had the same problem, the only way I got round it was to ring my phone from the mobile and leave a message. Then it was possible to go in and delete it. That got rid of the phantom message as well.
