No ring tone when calling UK

When I make calls to UK from my SFR/NEUF fixed line phone, there is no ring tone. Just silence and then hopefully some one picks up the phone. When making calls within France the ring tone is there.

Has anyone any suggestions please?

Redémarrage de box. Reboot the NeufBox then access messages to check for correct functioning and ring tone.

We've got exactly the same thing, and it's only been about the last 10 days.

I have found though that there is eventually a ring or engaged tone - it's just a lot slower to kick in.

I spoke to my daughter in the UK today and wheras I heard just one (short) ring, she'd heard three rings.

Apologies reread your original post and note that ring tones work in france, thus suggestion redundant.
