Humph
I have just purchased a Sky plus box and set it up replacing an ordinary Sky box. I have the two leads comming in and can recieve all the usual channals plus HD. However I am unable to use the record facility. Am I missing something or is it just not available in France? Humph
No. I just use the free channals but I am using a friends card which has the home package with the same message:Sky plus recording and playback are not available
Chezstevens
If your friends card is not tied to the Sky+ machine then you will not get the recording facility; likewise when card removed. Recording facility only works with a subscription tied to that machine! That is why we have a Humax PVR - no subscription and we can record all Free2air channels. Humph
I have the Sagem and it is now back in place. If I had researched properly I wouldn't have bought the sky+ box, but hey life's like that. Anyone want to buy a sky+ box?
