jennib
we have a Ligne Résidence Secondaire set up which has been brilliant, as we are going to be spending a lot more time in France this year I have been looking at France telecoms options and see that they do a 2 hour and unlimited call package - can anyone tell me if this would include international calls to UK. Also would like to have internet connected as well and would love to hear from others as to cheapest and best way to have this.
Danny
The basic FT line rental is 16 euros per month.Line rental is also included in the following two offers.'Optimale illimité' gives you unlimited calls to landline numbers in Europe and landlines and mobile numbers in the US. it is not cheap though. It is 39,00 per month.'Optimale 3 heures' which gives you 3 hours of free calls to Europe landlines and mobiles. This is 29,00 per month.Any other calls are charged for.Internet is different and extra and if you want,Assuming the line is elegible, it starts at 21,00 euros per month for a simple ADSL internet connection from Orange. It may be more cost effective to have internet and use the included free internet calls on the more expensive packages than pay for FT extra packages. This would mean a minimum 12 month internet subscription though.Ther are other providers of Internet too."cheapest and best" [:D] generally the cheapest and the best don't go together. You pay more for a higher level of service. It depends on what you want.Danny
