Opifex
Hi, Can anyone recommend a French proxy server? I've seen a few references to using proxy servers for receiving British TV in France but never anything about receiving French TV abroad.Cheers. Jazzer
You can watch most of the live French tv.channels(apart from TF1) on www.playtv.fr/television/- no downloads or subscription needed, or proxy server. For iPlayer www.tv-replay.fr. I have not tested the 2nd in the UK but know the first works.

pachapapa
I wonder if ADSLTV would work. It can be downloaded at this link and comes with VLC as a reader, it doesn't have TF1 but a lot of french stuff at the top of the channel list.http://www.adsltv.org/site/divers/telechargement.htm

bubbles
Couldn't get the asdl tv oneand the spanish one wouldn't load.weather is horrid here in Tenerife - grey, windy and we've had some rain every day for the past three days.forecast is bad for every one of the next 5 days.still, at least it is 20 degrees so I shouldn't grumble. Martin963
If you're serious about watching French TV in Britain a far far better solution to faffing around on the internet is to buy a TNTsat or Fransat box (HD if the funds permit). Obviously you will need to install a dish (doesn't have to be big) but for long term serious viewing it's the answer. But I know you asked about proxies so I offer that solution somewhat retiringly!
