JohnRoss
I wonder how many people will be sitting in front of their TV in a darkened room wearing polarised sun glasses watching BBC 1 at 11 am this morning having read about the 3D test transmission as described in the BigDish news letter. The Polarised Ray Amplitude Terminal (P.R.A.T) system sounds to be most interesting. Nice one!....................JR

JohnRoss
It was of course a Poisson d'Avril and the latest newsletter said "And finally ... the PRAT test for BBC 3D transmissions was, of course, total nonsense and the vast majority of you spotted it. Thanks for all the responses ... and there were many ... which kept us smiling all weekend ... and thanks to the 3 who owned up to being fooled ... your secret is safe with me!"
