confused of chalus
Is there an easy and not too expensive way of getting our tv satellite feed to show on our vastly superior wireless AppleMac screen? Thanks to any techies out there with an answer!Kathy
AnOther
Everything is possible !First though we need to know what sort of satellite box are you talking about (make & model) and also what input options your screen has (model) ?
confused of chalus
Satellite box is very basic Morgan's X35. (happy to upgrade as these seem quite cheap) We have iMac Mac OS X version 10.7.3 with 27" screen and can take a disc, plus several plug in ports. it is operating wirelessly. Bought January 2012.Thanks for your interest. kathy
Jonzjob
If I remember correctly our iMac 21 1/2 has a mini HDMI port on the back. If your sat box also has one it may be possible to do it that way. You will need a mini HDMI to normal HDMI converter cable and a standard HDMI cable long enough to connect to your TV.I have used the cable the other way around on our MacBook quite easily.
