Pommier
I did the update today, but now I`ve got a message in the bottom right hand corner of the screen on desktop saying `Secure Boot isn`t configured correctly Build 9600`I looked on Microsoft`s site and it looks to be a common problem. There are suggestions of going into the advanced BIOS screens and altering things (which I`m not confident about doing - the computer is less than a week old!)Is anyone else on here having this problem, is there an easy way to fix it, or should I just ignore it? Quillan
If it is only a week old then take it back. If you change anything it just gives them an excuse to to say you have broken the guarantee and refuse to do anything whatever fails be it hardware or the software that came with the machine. Computer manufacturer have had this upgrade for a few months now so they can 'adapt' their computers to make them Windows 8.1 ready.
Pommier
I`ve emailed the manufacturer to see what they say. Hopefully they can offer a simple solution as I`m otherwise happy with the computer.
