Quillan
A question asked on this forum many times. I should add that at the end of the day it is what suits the individual but ARCEP, the French equivalent of OFCOM set out 258 criteria on which to mark all the operators and it would seem that Orange came out nearly three times better than its nearest competitor (Bouygues Telecom) and over 100 times better than Free who came last. I don't know how independant ARCEP actually is? Personally I use SFR who came second to bottom and I am quite happy.QUALITÉ DES SERVICES MOBILESOrange devant, Bouygues Telecom et SFR au coude à coude avec un léger avantage pour Bouygues Telecom, Free Mobile derrière
YCCMB
I'm sorry, but TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY EIGHT???????????Strikes me it's another piece of French busywork, making jobs for people for the sheer sake of it.I can't speak for anyone else, but, as a customer - as opposed to whoever else on earth could possibly have their interests served by taking 258 criteria into consideration - I have 3 criteria:-coverage (without which any other criteria are irrelevant)-price, and-customer service (I know, I know...after all these years, you'd think I might have learned, wouldn't you?)So, as far as the other 255 are concerned, someone, somewhere, has been wasting an awful lot of time and manpower. nomoss
The results have little importance for someone who simply wants a mobile telephone, rather than a toy to play with [:D]
NormanH
I (and Chancer I believe) have the 0€ offer from Free, which as it works and I don't need anything fancier (I use Wifi for those things) is quite adequate. It would be hard to find something 100 times better...
