Quillan
Outlook no longer exists as you knew it, it is now cloud based. Go to www.outlook.com and setup an account. If your new laptop has Windows 8.1 (don't know about 8.0) you are asked to set one up when you turn the machine on the first time and go through the setup procedure. Alternativly if you have a hotmail account you can use the same login to access outlook (this is because hotmail was really rebranded to outlook)Once your logged in you can go to http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/outlook/import-desktop-app which will tell you how to transfer your existsing contacts list and emals to your cloud based outlook. The plus side of all this is you can access your information from any device connected to the Internet such a smart phone, Ipad, tablet, laptop or a mates desktop.
