Jonzjob
It's necessary for me to sign on to a friends' e-mail account as she doesn't have any kind of computer. Normally another family member would do it for her, but not possible at the mo. I have all of the relavent detail, but as I have never had either to sign into someone elses or even mine from another machine I have no idea how to do it??Any ideas please?? Chrissie
Normally, if you connect as yourself to your own email, there is an option somewhere to "sign out". (The location of this depends what system you are using.) Then you can sign in as your friend, using her email address and password. But make sure you know your own password to get back in later as yourself!Chrissie (81)
Jonzjob
I am using our MacBook Pro on OS X 10.9 Mavericks and the nearest I can find to signing out is to take my accounts off line and I'm not sure that's right? I have been right through Mail Preferences and all of the drop down menus?Rien n'est facile.

Department71
Can you not go to the providers e-mail web site and sign in as per web mail, that might get you round the problem without messing up your profile.
