Apple computers never get a virus or do they?

Recommended Posts

On the old principal that generalisations are always wrong, what's Boot Camp? Neither of my Macs have got it?

The only progamme that I would like to be able to run that is Windoze based if TYRE. Everything else is OS X based and fine with me, even my virus checker [:P]

Just as a matter of interest, the only way that I would go back to Widnoze is kickin and skreemin [8-|]

Am I correct in the assumption that Wizdose has followed the Mac example of not charging for new OSs? Well, time to join the good brigade init  [6]

I have always used Comodo on my Macs and this evening I found out why it isn't working since I upgraded to Yosemite. It doesn't work with it!! So I have posted the question of which is the best on the Mac forum I'm on and I'll post any results I get on here.

To say that Macs aren't open to viruses is nonsense, but to say that they are MUCH safer and better protected that Mikrosaft machines is true.

True but there are so few Mac's in the world compared to Windows machines that in the past people have thought they are not worth writing viruses for. It is nothing really to do with what the operating system and it being 'better protected' but more to do with quantity and effect and you get a better effect with MS.
