mint
Have had a few days with no internet (and also no phone in our case) which had nothing to do with our box or line. Most communes near us were affected.Anyway, we got back on line yesterday afternoon and, after a few blips of intermittent access, all seems to be working as normal. However, have now noticed that the blue light above "alarme" is now flashing continuously. Can someone tell me what, if any, significance this has?
suein56
However, have now noticed that the blue light above "alarme" is now flashing continuously.
Having a quick look online it seems that this can occur with some neuf boxes, even if they are functioning correctly, especially following a problem period. After the next update of the box (usually overnight) then the light should no longer flash.Sue
mint
Thing is, Sue, I have not long come home and switched on the computer to find......aarrrggghhhh.......no access....BUT the phone was working. More unplugging, fiddling with the leads, pressing the -reset button on the box and indeed now the alarme has stopped flashing and I am, as you can see, back on line. However the phone now does not work!I am reminded of the Morecombe and Wise sketch where Eric told André Previn that he was playing all the right notes in the Grieg piano concerto but not necessarily playing them in the right order! Was hoping that it would all settle down and I wouldn't have to make that dreaded phone call to SFR......... The SFR updates are done overnight as I said. If there is no improvement by tomorrow then either you call (I know your reservations about that) or go online to the SFR forum and someone techy from SFR will pick it up and do the necessary update.http://forum.sfr.fr/t5/Offre-box-et-TV/Alarme-clignote-neufbox/td-p/647450*You do need to register to be able to post a question on the forum.** I have used the SFR forum, successfully, to sort out a friend's problem.Sue

It took two goes to bring order to the system but then all was sweetness and light.Try it tomorrow - just in case you have an update tonight which should sort out your problem.Sue
