CeeJay
Outside of my house is a telephone wire leading to a neighbour from a box down the street, however, it inhibits me from having work done on my roof etc and I would like it moved.Who is responsible for the realignment, your telephone provider, or is there some overall nationaL body? Gyn_Paul
Since FT/Orange only charge you for faults from the junction box inside the house onwards, I imagine the wire outside the house is FT's despite it being on your property. Although how you go about getting them to re-route it, is beyond me. Of course if it were to suffer an (erhumm) 'accident' while your builders were working on the roof.... then FT would probably move it anyway while they were repairing it ! CeeJay
Telephoned FT a week ago and was told that I would hear something within 24hrs. Still waiting!!Builder arrived to commence work today and moved it himself, sorted!
