Blodwyn
I've had problems with Internet Explorer so am using Mozilla, so have lost my favourites. When I tried to log into the France Forum, I got a warning that this site is not secure and advising me not to use it as my password could be seen! Slightly worrying though I use a different password.

Théière
Not my topic so could be wrong but the latest browser updates look for the latest security. In this case SHTML but like many many sites they haven't been updated so rather just as secure as they used to be rather than un secure.
AnOther
Théière is correct and in fact nothing has changed but the way Firefox is looking at sites and reporting, your passwords are no more or less secure. To stop the behavior type About:config into the address bar, accept the warnings, then find the key 'security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled' (which should be showing 'True' ) then double click on it to toggle it to 'False'You will never see the message again.
