Hello all, this is my first post here.

Would anyone know why I lose the signal for UK television channels in the summer ? No problem in the winter but from April until October no picture.

What system are you on?

I am on Freesat with few if any interruptions but you need the right size dish.

I used to have this problem until I resited the dish so that the trees across the road were no longer in the path from the satellite. :) It was ok in the winter when the trees were bare.

Freesat which was fine with a 1 meter dish until the footprint changed a couple of years ago. I am in the south so probably need a bigger dish but strange it works in the winter.

Will try this before getting a bigger dish. According to most reports here in the south a 1 meter dish shouldn’t be sufficient but seeing as it’s fine in the winter worth a try.

WB you are very close to the UK.

Just looked here as normally no problem with reception. Arrived just under 2 weeks ago (SW France) and fun. We have had bad weather at times but even when the weather has been fair problems. At the start could get BBC2 HD. Re-aligned the dish and evening fine and next day nothing - apart from channels on the wide beam.

Have been wondering should I replace the LNB or have they tweeked the satellites again....dish is 1.2m x 1.3m

We have Humax, Freesat, whatever it's called.  Professionally installed and generally works OK.  But in the last couple of days, we haven't been able to get "Home, Channel 166"

Does anyone have any idea how to get it back, please?

Further to my posting, talking to people around here most people are having problems with reception so could be clouds and weather conditions.

Ours seems fine today.
