As I consider most companies to have less than secure software and they love to profit by selling us out to other companies I am sure our phone numbers are sold as well judged by the increase in spam sms. suein56 Posted August 17, 2019 Share Posted August 17, 2019 USA companies sometimes don't register that there are people in other countries who might be interested in their products.Potentially buying items from the US does often incur custom charges.But I'm not happy about the supposed web address given as it is not Https .. which is the standard now.It does seem likely to be a scam.Postage from the US can sometimes take ages.
