Christine Animal
Et ça continue ! [:D]There is a Wallaby on the loose in Charente. Apparently it belongs to a vet from Cognac who is on holiday and it has escaped from his home at Genté. He's been running around for nearly a week now.Un kangourou en fugue dans la campagne charentaise
woolybanana
Well, if it does no harm, why worry? There have been kangaroos in Derbyshire for years.

Christine Animal
Then we'd have to organise a covoiturage to get him back to Genté! He would look good sitting in the back of a car.

velcorin
A few years ago they used to be hundreds of them around Buxton, they were breeding quite happily. From what mates from the area tell me they wiped out in the F&M scare by the Park authorities (they don't like non-indiginous species at the best of times)
