Mpprh
HiI've come across a company aiming to open a nationwide chain of British grocers in France. They are currently committed to 4 or 5 locations. Not sure if this is advertising, but the link is : http://www.bestofbritish.frIf it's out of order, doubtless the moderator will delete it.And I apologise in advance if this is so.BTW, I am not Mr Best of British !PeterThe Languedoc Page : http://tlp.netfirms.com
Patknighton
>BTW, I am not Mr Best >of British ! But they do appear on your website. Talking of which, your website doesn't mention any address. You are clearly in business and I wonder if you are registered here in France?I ask purely out of curiosity.Pat
Teamedup
LAST EDITED ON 15-Feb-04 AT 11:46 PM (GMT)There seem to be quite a lot of these companies. I have friends who have used Expat Essentials and the Epicerie Anglaise, can't remember the names of a couple of others. And ofcourse there is the Comptoir Irlandaise. Iceni
LAST EDITED ON 07-May-04 AT 07:34 AM (BST)This post will doubtless be interpreted as some form of snobbery but here goes anyway.Which products are so essential to daily life that a British grocer is needed ?I confess that we ask our visitors to bring Earl Gray/Grey Tea and Tesco Organic porridge but beyond that we have coped with the mix that Leclerc, Leader Price and the markets offer.Curious of Aynachttp://www.iceni-it.co.ukbtw PK we are NOT registered in France so there !!
