monsieur kim Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 I live near somebody who has a lovely Pointer kept in a very small "kennel" which is part of a outside barn. it is there 24/7 and its like a prison for the poor thing. over xmas the owners were away for 5 days but i believe a relative fed the dog. one occasion i looked into the kennel and all it had was straw as bedding, there was mess everywhere and the food was disgusting, chicken bones and carcasses. apalling conditions. i went to our local SPA and they directed me to our mairie first. i have heard nothing from him for 3 weeks now. what else can i do in this situation does anyone have experience of this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This covers a similar situation, although I don't know if your neighbour's dog would be classed as neglected under the law. Dreadful situation.
