Bobdude
We are planning to let out our French house long term from next month. We have a family with children moving in. My question is - does anyone know the regulations regarding safety of first floor windows in France? It is a loft conversion and the window goes down to floor level inside. It opens inwards. We are planning to fit a decorative iron grille outside, but this could obviously be climbed by a child. If we fit good locking handles and give the parents the key do you think that would be OK? Also - I haven't yet found locking window handles here. Only separate window locks. Anyone know of anywhere in France that does them? Thanks, Linda
