cooperlola
You and Willy are the best!!!!!!Look forward to meeting Tigue soon x
Blimey Twinks, where did you spring from? I had a GSD once - a lovely lass and a much maligned breed, IMO. So glad to know he's found a home.

Merlin
What good news that he's such a good boy! Sounds like you've got a cracker there and Rowan was so right in her instincts about him - long may he reward your kindness with many years of loyalty and companionship. Well done for trusting in him.
Chateau Miaou
I think I've sorted the pics now Pads, hope you can see them? Thanks Merlin, yes, he's very lovely and gentle for such a big dog - keeping a close eye on him today but he's quite relaxed and lying in the sun just now. Framboise
Thats what I like to see, a happy ending!!The pity is that these poor dogs end up in the refuge, however if it means they get the chance at a proper family life then so be it imo - better that than some unthinkable fate for them.I will never regret taking our Charley from the SPA for he is the most wonderful dog with such a character. He has even learned English for us!
Rowan
I haven't stopped grinning today. Thanks again to Sharon and Willy for taking him on.I could have danced for joy yesterday when you all left...All I did was shed a quick tear, tho!Give your lovely boy a pat for me and tell him not to let me down! Chateau Miaou
Just a quick update on Ozzy (was Tigue, sorry Pads!) . . . he's been with us now for just over 2 weeks and is settling in very well. He's a wonderful boy, gentle and obedient and very intelligent . . . but always hungry. He gets on well with our part-time pooch, Picos, and isn't bothered at all by our 3 cats . . . not so sure they're too happy with him, especially BB (aged 9 months) who is the size of one of Ozzy's paws and has taken to sneaking up on him and thumping him before she scarpers . . . he loved seeing Rowan today when she came to visit, and is looking forward to meeting Pads in a couple of weeks . . . and what about that Twinkle, when is she popping by?Anyway, here are some photos to let you see how he's been enjoying some nice weather here until the last couple of days, when we've been forced indoors and had to light the fire . . .
