pachapapa Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Been a fan of "los toros" now for nearly 50 years, initially introduced to it in the small villages in the foothills of the Guadarramas, each faculty at the University of Madrid organised afternoons with "vaquillas" in village plazas, lots of aguardiente and reckless bravery. The "vaquillas" had done it frequently before, the "muleta" didnt fool them, they went straight for the body. Lucky to be in Madrid for the San Isidro Festival and las corridas en las ventas. Then moved north to Salas de Los Infantes for a couple of weeks on the Good,the Bad and the Ugly set before continuing to Pamplona for the San Fermin Festival and the running of the bulls through the streets.
