carterland
I currently visit dept 79 (Deux Sevres) 6 times a year with my dog. The vets we use in Chef Boutonne charge e63 each time we vist to get her signed off for the return trip. This seems expensive to me so does anyone have any alternaive vets/prices? Judie
I have an extremely good deal with my wonderful french vet. 117 euros for 8 cats and a dog returning to the UK in two weeks time. But she has known me for 8 years and I've put a small fortune in her coffers over the years as my long-suffering husband will testify to. I do bring my own Frontline with me which reduces the cost a little.Perhaps you can try that.
Mr Coeur de Lion
Wow, that's a lot.My vets charged me €39 including injection when I had to call them out at 9pm on an emergency once. The most expensive thing for me normally are the annual jabs at €40 a dog.Even the recent treatment for my late dog was cheap and they only charged me once for several consultations. I do have to go back and pay for putting my dog to sleep though, so will see how much that is.
