Jouals
This is Bouba, a lovely setter/spaniel cross (medium size), who is particularly stressed in the Refuge in Cahors (where he arrived in early May after he was found tied to a railway track!). His last owners were traced (a long, sorry tale of multiple owners, irresponsible owners, given away, stolen! What to believe! All we know is that this dog deserves better!) but have said they do not want him back as the lady is pregnant. Following his abandonment he has found life in the Refuge very, very hard to cope with!! Bouba is 6 and a half years old, micro chipped (250269200053140) and vaccinated. He has had a sorry life so far, can anyone offer this lovely dog a new and permanent chance of a happy life!!!? Otherwise he is a calm and intelligent dog who loves people and some TLC - he would make a devoted companion. He deserves to find a good home as soon as possible away from the nightmare he now finds himself in! Could you offer Bouba a kind, calm and caring home? We can arrange transport solutions if need be. Please get in touch if you think you would like to offer him a home.... thanks...JoualsREFUGE CANIN LOTOIS , Z.I. Jouals
I am so happy to report that just under 2 weeks ago Bouba went off to a foster home. A very kind couple read of his plight and drove 2 and a half hours to come and pick him up from the Refuge. After a couple of days of adjusting to a much less stressful existence, his foster family have said that he has settled very well indeed and has already become a well-known character in their village. Loving water, he naturally took a dip in the lake on an outing to the village Music Fete. Everyone who meets him thinks he is a charmer. As we thought, he is a loving, affectionate dog who just needed a calm home with lots of TLC. An injury on his foot quickly healed once out of the Refuge. A lucky boy! Thank you so much to his foster carers! They say... "Bouba doesn't go far from either of us, is not walked on a lead as he's so good and all in all a very contented boy.His bandage came off and all was cured. He's had a special bath in our tub and just sat and enjoyed every minute (including the blow dry that finished the beauty treatment)!"Here he is relaxing with a new friend….Jouals
