Is this normal as I haven't had one before. Can anyone help on who I make the cheque payable to as it does not appear to say, is it just to the Tresoe Public?I would by grateful for any adviceTess
BJSLIV
Yes it will be payable to the TP.The number of councils charging for Les Ordures is increasing each year, as are the charges. It is quite a controversial subject as in some places the costs have doubled from one year to the next: largely because of the new rules controlling waste disposal and recycling. The other hot topic is whether it is more equitable to charge based on the value of the house, like the other local taxes, or on a per capita basis. As always it varies from commune to commune. Weedon
When we got our first bill not knowing exactly what is was for we did a translation on our PC and it came up with 'houswives filth'
Bernice
I've just paid 36 50 for January to June (in 29). The bill specifies "residence secondaire" - do we pay less because of this?Bernice
