Christine Animal Posted August 24, 2012 Share Posted August 24, 2012 Spirou has been rescued from a pound thanks to Janet who is very kindly fostering him in her home north Deux-Sèvres until she goes away in September and she has certainly been able to put a smile back on his lovely little face.He is proving to be a friendly, happy lad who loves playing with his ball, is good on the lead when out for a walk, excellent in the car, sits under the table to be near you and enjoys looking at everything (like lizards!) in the garden. Was little Spirou stolen, abandoned? We shall never know, but one thing's for sure, he now needs a loving home where he will be a very easy going and pleasant companion for someone. The vet has estimated his date of birth at March 2006, just a nice age for a mature well behaved dog.A big thank you to Janet for helping us save Spirou and for taking such good care of him temporarily. Christine Animal Posted October 10, 2012 Author Share Posted October 10, 2012 When Janet left Spirou came to us and he is now neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated plus rabies and passport.He really is a little charmer, both full of life and fun and quiet and well behaved. When given a treat, he takes it so gently, he really is a sweet little dog. If he is lucky enough to find a loving home he will come with his dumbbell that Janet offered him. He absolutely loves it and takes it into his bed, then after a game outdoors when he comes back inside he rushes to get it to bring it to you with a big smile. He's really lovely!
