IAN_S
We have had a couple of chickens for month or so and one of them is laying eggs that look ok but have flexible shells like a small balloon. The other's eggs are perfectly all right. We are feeding layers mash from Gamm Vert and any scraps including bread etc.Any ideas what this could be and what we can do about it? Redcap
Looks to me like lack of calcium. Have tried a good chicken site called 'Backyard Chickens' Put it into Google, in fact you'll probably come up with loads of other chicken related site.Regards,Bob
Ckeywood
Our girls seem to like Cuttle fish bones. Washed of course. We had to show them how to go about it by scraping the soft top a little and now they have no trouble.
