Thinlizzy
Just thought I would let you know that I've found some kennels in Dept. 50 run by a qualified veterinary nurse. I've taken my dog to see them and he is now booked in for a 2-week holiday! Will let you know how he gets on...
cheryl
We've looked at quite a lot of kennels since we've been living here, and haven't been happy with any of them, so if the one you've found is good, please tell me!What we're looking for is a purpose-built kennels preferably with heating in winter, and run by someone who isn't drunk!Cheryl
Causette
LAST EDITED ON 21-Jul-04 AT 07:58 AM (BST)And there's also Chateau des Animaux in Vimoutiers on the 14/61 border(www.chateaudesanimaux.com) - the cats and dogs there have a lovely time, as Candice treats all the animals as her own. Oh! and she isn't a drunk! We buy all our pet food from her too.JudyM (14)
Thinlizzy
We've just come back from the UK and collected our dog from Acorn Kennels. He's had a whale of a time and although pleased to see us, was clearly quite at home there. I'll definitely be taking him there again and we know we can enjoy our trips away without having to worry yabout him. Just to clarify that the kennels are on the border of Manche(50), Mayenne (53) and Orne(61) and not far from Ile-et-Villaine(35) ... Sorry, spelling not good!
