Bex2www.expat-equestrian.com
Hi I am looking to advertise my business and was wandering if there are any horsey mags popular with Brits? Hope someone can help.Bex
Fantine

Susie
There are several 'Horsey' magazines available, both aimed at adults and children. I have no idea which are 'popular with the Brits' though. You should go to a decent Presse and have a look at them, perhaps you could judge by the content which is best for your target market. IAN_S
We get Cheval magazine which is a fairly serious mag and very good in our opinion. There are other more light ones for children and teens but we prefer this one.
cary
Hi BexHows things. Hope all going ok. Horse magazines popular in the uk seem to be "your horse" and "horse and rider" are pretty popular where we come from. Also "horse and hound". Hope this helps and hope the business is going ok. Send me a pm and i'll e mail you back. Cary

cary
Yes i did think that after i posted the reply. Must of had a thick moment, although i do still get those english mags posted out to me here in france. I have also bought the french magazine "cheval". PaysBasque
Actually, I think Cary has got a point. I think that there are a lot of Brits who still subscribe to the English mags rather than wading through the French equivalent. I am a 'L'Eperon' reader, as I fing the other French horsey mags just too trivial to read. I also subscribe to the REF in order to be up to date about comptetitions, but I don't know if you would be able to advertise in that as you are probably not (I'm assuming) a member centre of the FFE. Other than that I would just try to advertise in as many local newspapers or village papers as possible.
