Science Diet Cat Food

Is it possible to buy Hill's Sience Diet in France?  One of our cats has to be given Hills CD Diet or Walthams Urinary Diet for a recurring problem (so all 3 cats have to eat the same thing!).

If it is not locally available, can anyone let me know of an online Pet Food Supplier, who would deliver to France, as the one I use is UK delivery only.

I know you can buy the Science Diet for dogs in a few places

in France.  I used to feed it to my dogs

but I decided I was having to drive too far to the one shop I found that sold

it.  Then I found another but it only

sold the small bags (expensive).

I did e-mail Hills asking about retails outlets (actually

e-mailed them about 6 times) but every e-mail was totally ignored by them.

The one store I did find that sold it was Jardiland in Tours

– though other branches of the same chain did not sell it.

I have seen that other brands in France do the specialist

types of food for special dietary requirements (maybe check with your vet).

Our vet in the Ardèche stocks Hills products but I could not definitively say if he has what you are looking for, but I would have thought it would at worst be able to order it.

Of course the downside is that you are paying vets prices.

Anyway the good news is that it should be available in France.

Our vet seems to charge the same prices for croquettes as the local supermarket and we have always bought our premium dog food from them. A bit like supporting your corner shop I suppose.
