The Chambre de Commerce and Industrie in Paris have set out regulations for all Chambres d'Hotes in France; this is whether or not the owners are linked to Gites de France:

Thanks Suzy this link looks v interesting.....but it doesn't work anymore ! Even if I take the 3 out it still doesn't work.
I am urgently trying to find out how to register & get permission for chambres d'hotes so was practically hyperventilating when I saw the link - don't suppose you kept a copy of the information by any chance ?
