PossumGirl
Our vet wants me to worm Maggie with Milbemax. I've never wormed her before and wanted to check with any of you who have done so. Does this usually give them diarrhea or have any other effects that I should watch out for? Is it better to give them the pill in the morning? How quickly does it have an effect? Thanks.PG
Robbie34
Milbemax seems to be the wormer of choice. It used to be Drontal, but my UK vet now prescribes Milbemax. My vet in Gourdon also prescribes Milbemax for our return to the UK.Charley tolerates it very well and it has had no undue effects. I've no idea how long it takes to become effective as I've never seen any evidence of worms in his motions. He is wormed regularly every three months.
