This is your "Get out of jail free" card.If you're rich enough to not need a mortgage, you can safely ignore this piece of gratuitous advice. Elayne Posted August 6, 2004 Share Posted August 6, 2004 yes but only if you had a clause suspensive put in that says the purchase is subject to mortgage - otherwise if this clause is not in as a suspensive one , then you cannot use it as an excuse to get out of the sale after the 7 day period.
