thunderhorse
Our two dogs came to France on a one-way ticket i.e. not on the Pet Passport scheme: microchipped and certified healthy. As we have the opportunity to go to Spain visiting, do France and Spain have the same sort of schemes? Christine Animal
Check with your vet, but you obviously need to get them a pet passport, they are already microchipped, so should also be vaccinated, especially rabies.http://www.tourspain.be/info_fr.htmhttp://www.routard.com/guide_dossier/id_dp/34/num_page/2.htm

Kristine
I live in Spain, though we did live in France for several years before. We regularlytravel between the countries visiting friends and although you should have the full passport ,we have never been stopped,( who would stop you ,and where ? ) so long as you take the vacination book with you I don't see a problem, .There are a lot of ticks in southern Spain ,so it's only common sense to treat the dogs as you proberbly do now.
