competition carriage driving in france

my husband and i will be moving to france this year. we are dedicated carriage drivers. can any one give me information on national and club events in france. do the events follow the same format as uk? what is the french organisation called that governs driving? any info would be helpfull. thanks

that website is in french. although we are learning i cant translate it. however i know of diana cumberledge, does anyone know how to get in touch with her.Or anyone else that is involved in competition carriage driving. thanks for your reply. heather

In our part of France the "Haras du Pin" is heavily involved in carriage driving, as well as being one of the major stud farms in France.  You could try Googling it and you'll find lots of links.  Otherwise try Googling "Attelage France".

you mean on the equineonline forum?

I believe the username is Poney Fell. she has fell pony's and does carriage driving with them.
