Pets scheme

Just a question: are you planning to actually stay in Calais for at least 24 hours after your pet has seen the vet? If not, then it may suit you better to find a vet closer to where you're staying in France, as you can't travel with your animal until 24-48 hours after the animal has received the required treatments for return to the UK. There are no exceptions to this and it's rigorously enforced (not less than 24 and not more than 48 hours, or you will be turned away).
