Is it just my wild kitties, but they seem to be eating for France at the moment and putting on weight as well as their fur getting thicker.  Is this a sign for a cold winter?   Wouldn't surprise me after the "summer" we've had.  Domestic cats are OK, normal eating, normal size, etc.

Also, wild cat mum has swollen face and eyelids.  She's not too happy about being picked up to get a close look, but I did manage a brief "scruff of the neck pickup" today and her eyelids are very puffy.  Could she have been stung or bitten.  She's not in any distress, so not sure whether to risk life and limb in trying to catch her to whisk her off to the vet.
