londoneye
Hi allMy neighbours kitten, who comes in to play with my dog, has just taken a flying leap into our swimming pool ! Fortunately OH was very close and heard splash and retrieved it by scruff of neck (must tell neighbour its not much cop at swimming ..).He (kitten) is ok, and I dried him off, but neighbour is not back from work til this evening. Do you think I should wash kitten, or just leave him to get his composure back ??
Pierre ZFP
I think washing him would add insult to injury - getting wet twice in one day? no thanks. He'll probably be feeling a bit sorry for himself bit otherwise fine. Maybe it was a valuable lesson learnt for him?
londoneye
You are right - I've just checked him and he is lovely and dry, and beautifully fluffed up now ! Looks a treat ... so decided to leave him.Don't think he will be going there again somehow - he was very shocked when we got him out, but recovered quickly.
