dave
She looks fantastic. Do you know her history ? Is that a brand on her neck, or just an old injury ? Top marks to you for saving her, at eight she is just a teenager...Regards Dave
Christine Animal
You can see how content she is on the photo with your "boîte à outils", by the nostrils and the hanging bottom lip. She's obviously been enjoying all the attention.
Morse98
Thanks Guys for those kind words. Fills me up with pride!Pads,She just comes to the gate every time I go out now and calls to me, she will just stand there and let me put her head collar on whenever I want to so must be getting there! Dave,Not sure of her history however the mark on her neck is a brand which ALL registered Percherons have! It means she is in the French Percheron Stud Book (have checked and she is definately in there! Lancia 3, 1999!) It is an S&P for Societe Percheron and it is usually done at about 6mths of age!! Christine,Yeah, agree the old camel lip!! She seems to be content and I hope we can continue getting her to trust and learn that NOT ALL humans treat animals badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rob Roy
Well done, Morse, she looks lovely. I'm so pleased for you that she is now trusting you and giving you so much pleasure. It is so rewarding when a rescued animal starts to trust you isn't it?
