sorchajames
Hi, I wonder is anyone could please help me. We will need to see a vet in the Saintes/ Cognac / Jarnac area on the 7th August this year for the tick / tapeworm treatment before going on the ferry to Ireland with our cat.. Does anyone know of any vets in this area, ideally although not necessarily english speaking and preferable an email address or tel no. Thanks Sarah
Renaud
There is a good vet in Mirambeau next to the flower shop. Sorry I don't know the phone number.
goose
We go to one in Cozes, they speak English and our dog was more relaxed with the vet there than the one we have at home which is a plus in my book. The surgery is on the roundabout coming into Cozes from the south, the name is:- Drs Lebon et GobertClinique Veterinaire28 Boulevard Bonnes Nouvelles17120 COZESFax 05 46 90 76 51Tel 05.46 90 81 01www.cliniqueveto.com Hope this helps.Carol
sorchajames
Hi, Thanks ever so much for that. I am really trying to get an email address to try and organise things but when I tried the web address it gives no information. You wouldnt happen to have an email address for the vet would you? Thanks again Sarah
goose
Hi Sarah,Sorry, that is the only one I have, I think we had to telephone them to make an appointment. They speak very good English (well Miriam the wife who is the vet also does).Just found this on another website although no email address - Drs. Myriam Gobert & Eric Lebon, 28 Boulevard Bonnes Nouvelles, 17120 Cozes, 05.46.90.81.01This husband and wife team are situated in the white and blue building at the roundabout as you approach Cozes from Gémozac, both vets speak English and are wonderful with our pets...we wish they could be our doctors! Dr. Lebon is also a specialist in cardiology. Good luckCarol
Hotspur
We go to very good vets in Rouillac who look after our dog splendidly (he is now on his second Pet Passport). You can get full contact details from this link http://maison-jardin.118000.fr/v_rouillac_16/c_veterinaire Dr Beau speaks English fairly well. ali-cat
The vet in Rouillac, mentioned above, is excellent & I honestly can't recommend them enough for any pet treatment. Dr Hersan also speaks excellent English & you can ask for either her or Dr Beau if you need to phone to make an appointment. I discovered, while looking for a vet in the area, that very few actually have their own web-sites or are contactable by email.Clinique Vétérinaire, 1 Route de Genac, 16170, Rouillac. Tel: 05 45 21 77 82 (they are very easy to find, beside Super U)
Athene
We have an efficient, friendly vetinary practice in Jonzac. Docteur Gadras, M. Bourreau and Mame Beau. they are all excellent! M. Gadras speaks English! Normally I spoke in French but when my much loved cat was dying, he spoke in English to me! I forget the name of the road where it is but it is the one where la poste is on the corner. They will be in the phone book! They do not have appointments, you just turn up and are seen in the order you arrive or the gravity!
