Clair
CHPLR = Maladie de Carré, Hepatite de Rhubarth, Parvovirose, Leptospirose, RageSee here: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chiens-berger.com%2FSavoir%2FSante%2FSante_vaccination.htmThe Carnet Européen most probably is the Pet passport. Assuming you have it, does it look like this?
pagnol81
Thanks very much, Clair.I'm told the puppy comes with a carnet Europeen, so I haven't actually seen the document. As the puppy's in France I needed to know if I could bring her back to the UK straight away. As she's only 5 months old I expect she will need the test carried out 6 months after the rabies jab to establish the presence of antibodies, so I wouldn't be able to bring her to the UK immediately. If this is not correct I'm sure someone will put me right. Thanks again

For entry to the UK the sequence is microchip, rabies vaccination, one month's wait then blood test to see if sufficient antibodies have been produced then wait six months from the date of the (successful) blood test before the pet can travel to the UK. Treatment for ticks/tapeworm required not less than 24 and not more than 48 hours before travel to the UK.Bernice
