Elizabethd
Can anyone help out? We are trying to sell our house in the Charente, Dept. 16. So far, we have not had much joy and wonder if anyone could recommend a good estate agent? Thanks.

Elizabethd
We are about 20 mins north of Angouleme, are using a couple of agents at the moment, but they don't seem to be showing anyone around! Is this due to the property market in France or is it just a bit slow this time of year? ThanksElizabethD

Nick Trollope
Why are they not showing anyone around? Have they told you, and have you asked? Without wishing to sound too much like a C4 TV programme, there are plenty of things you can do, which will sell the house via any agent.Have you put it on TF? For some reason lots of people look there.
Teamedup
Some friends of ours thoroughly recommend ORPI, they are expensive, but hey, it is the buyer who pays their fees, not you. They have bought and then decided to put the house they were selling via this national company as they were so good.
Deby
I can recommend a Dutch couple who have a good customer base too. They specialise in properties in both the Charente and Dordogne. They speak English, French, Dutch and German.Their site is www.residencenfrance.com Deby
