Pierre ZFP
You could try Point Vert if there's one near you. They mostly do domestic fowl food but I seem to remember they do wild bird stuff as well in large sacks at very reasonable prices.
Dog
I glean them after they have been harvested.
Loirette
Hi JohnyWe buy our birdseed from one of two sources. Over here we use Vivara http://www.vivara.fr/ or we have had it sent direct from RSPB to here http://shopping.rspb.org.uk/c/BirdCare.htm?utm_source=rspbwebsite&utm_medium=navigation&mediacode=T06ITH0221 Both of these will sell in various sizes. As far as we are aware, here in La Sarthe we do not have Point Vert. Gamm Vert (at Ferte) does sell bird food, but not sunflower hearts (we have seen sunflowers but we tend not to buy them unshucked because of the mess they make).Hope that helps.
