Wicce
Just getting all our pet's passports up to speed for a return to the UK, and I noticed on the DEFRA site that the Vet's stamp must be any colour except black! All of our Vet's stamps are black! Has anyone experienced any difficulty with the Black Stamp Police at the port?
Rowan
All our stamps are black, too, and we have never had any trouble. Done the crossing about 12 times. Don't think the people at the ports enforce a rule that is clearly daft!Don't fret!

Richard
Just checked and all ours are black as well- and we've been going over at least once a month for the past two years+. so i don;t think you've got anything to worry about
Dog
Richard your companion canine looks just like my previous faithful friend Harry. The probable reason they want the stamp in blue is it is more difficult to forge i.e. to copy and print. Ysatis
We have only just got out passports for our cats and have yet to travel with them but the stamp for the rabbies jab in the passport is in red. But this may not be the colour when they actually travel.
