Hoddy
I thought this was possible. In conversation this morning someone said it wasn't. Does anyone have experience of taking their dog to France via the Tunnel please ?
andyh4
If you mean Eurostar then only guide dogs may be taken. If you mean Le Shuttle then you can take your dog

Will
No problem with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits etc via the Shuttle. In fact if you are taking rabbits it's the only option (really wanted to know that, didn't you) [;-)]
Hoddy
Thanks for these replies. I was 99.99999% but that shred of doubt worried me.Hoddy
andyh4
The problem maybe arises because many people do not understand that Eurostar and Le Shuttle are 2 very different operations. They then hear something about one and assume it applies to both (or even do not realise there is a both).
JeanS
My daughter has been using the Shuttle to bring her dog to visit my house for the last 5 years - sometimes 3 times a year and has no problems. She prefers this way as she doesn't like the idea of leaving the dog in the car on he's own.
PaulT
To my mind it is the only way to take an animal across the Channel. They must get very frightened on a ferry when it is rough and the car alarms go off.It is also very civilised -drive in, go to the right, in to the pet check in and then through to the Shuttle.Paul
