woolybanana
My big doggie seems to be having an extended moult this late season and I was wondering whether this is a sign that something is wrong. And his coat does not seem to be as lustrous and shiny as it was. Any thoughts, please?
Russethouse
My friends Rottie has been moulting (what seems to be his 'undercoat') for several weeks now, he is as right as rain (apart from having a liking for eating horse and rabbit poo - yuk !)If it is a sign of a problem there is nothing obvious at present
idun
Is it the weather? Our cat seems to have had two moults this year, but he is in fine fettle.Just keep an eye on big doggie. If he seems fine, eating well, pooing well, as energetic as usual, then he'll be OK. You know to go to the vets if he is really off colour. Ths was before she was diagnosed as diabetic. Following the introduction of a good wet food diet and insulin jabs she now looks great with shiny eyes and a shiny coat, with no hint of dandruff.Sue
